KFAS established The Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity (SACGC) in 2010 to discover and sponsor talented and creative Kuwaitis, and help inventors to develop their ideas and register their innovations.

Business Needs:

Sabah Al Ahmed are having office assets from years & to their multiple locations. Assets are with multiple surface type like metal, wooden, plastic surface. The main task was to track all the assets availability & to get the depreciation of the assets for their audit purpose.

Hence, Pegasus has provided RFID Asset Management Solution.

What is RFID

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is the latest technology to be used in various industry such as restaurant, education, libraries, commercial offices etc. Unlike EM (Electro-Mechanical) and RF (Radio Frequency) systems, which have been used in libraries for decades, RFID-based systems move beyond security to become tracking systems that combine security with more efficient tracking of materials throughout the library, including easier and faster charge and discharge, inventorying, and materials handling.

Solution:

RFID is coming with RFID tags & RFID handheld reader. Handheld reader reads the tags within the frequency range of tags which are tagged on assets.Pegasus provide Asset Management software as a backend to create products, store inventory data, reports etc.

It has a financial module where finance team will pull depreciation report to determine the values of assets. Also RFID Antenna’s are implemented to the entrance gates of each location to track in & out moving assets.
