Graphics Designer & Social Media Promoter

A Graphics Designer & Social Media Promoter combines design skills with social media marketing expertise to create engaging visuals for various online platforms and promote brand visibility. This hybrid role requires a creative mindset as well as strategic thinking for social media engagement and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Graphics Design:

  1. Design Creation:

    • Develop eye-catching visuals for digital and print platforms including social media posts, banners, advertisements, website graphics, email newsletters, Brochure, Catelogue  and other marketing materials.
    • Design logos, icons, and illustrations tailored to client or brand guidelines.
    • Ensure designs are optimized for various platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  2. Branding:

    • Maintain consistency in design across all brand materials, ensuring alignment with brand identity.
    • Create visual assets that reflect the brand’s voice and attract its target audience.
  3. Creative Concept Development:

    • Ideate and implement creative concepts for campaigns, social media promotions, and events.
    • Develop compelling visual stories to engage users and enhance brand messaging.

Social Media Promotion:

  1. Content Strategy:

    • Develop and implement social media strategies that increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions across various platforms.
    • Research trends and audience behaviors to adapt content and design for maximum impact.
  2. Social Media Management:

    • Schedule, post, and monitor social media content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.
    • Interact with followers, respond to comments, and create engaging captions to drive conversations.
  3. Campaign Creation and Execution:

    • Design social media campaigns, including visuals, videos, and other digital assets.
    • Track and analyze campaign performance (e.g., engagement, clicks, impressions) and adjust strategies based on data insights.
  4. Community Engagement:

    • Foster relationships with followers and online communities to build brand loyalty.
    • Collaborate with influencers or other brands to expand reach and create brand partnerships.
  5. Social Media Ads:

    • Create and manage paid social media campaigns, including Facebook and Instagram Ads, to boost product/service visibility and drive traffic.
    • Analyze ad performance and optimize campaigns to improve ROI.

Analytics and Reporting:

  1. Social Media Metrics:

    • Monitor key social media metrics such as likes, shares, comments, engagement rate, and website traffic driven by social media.
    • Use tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  2. Design Performance:

    • Evaluate the success of graphic designs based on user interaction and engagement metrics on social media platforms.

Skills Required:

Design Skills:

  • Proficiency in Design Software: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, Figma, Sketch, or other design tools.
  • Branding Expertise: Ability to create and manage brand identities across digital platforms.
  • Visual Communication: Strong knowledge of design principles (color theory, typography, layout) and how to apply them to visual storytelling.
  • Adaptability: Understanding how to create platform-specific designs (e.g., square posts for Instagram, banners for Facebook).

Social Media Promotion Skills:

  • Social Media Strategy: Knowledge of how to craft a social media plan that aligns with business goals, increase engagement, and drive traffic or sales.
  • Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube) and how to tailor content for each.
  • Content Creation: Ability to design engaging, on-brand visuals (posts, stories, video content, etc.) for social media.
  • Community Management: Skilled in engaging with followers, responding to comments, and building relationships on social media.
  • Paid Social Media Campaigns: Experience running Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn ads, etc., and understanding targeting, budgeting, and campaign optimization.
  • Social Media Analytics: Ability to use tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other reporting tools to track performance and adapt strategies.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Portfolio showcasing a combination of design work and social media management examples.
  • Experience: Previous experience in graphic design and social media promotion is typically required (internships, freelance work, or agency experience).
  • Certifications (optional): Social media marketing certifications from platforms like HubSpot, Facebook Blueprint, or Google Ads may be advantageous.
