Regardless of the barcode condition – the handy barcode readers of the Zebra 3600 series perform highly effective. Depending on the model, 1D or 1D/2D barcodes are captured fast and accurately, even if the code is poorly printed, smudged, damaged, under shrink film or frosted.

Software Tools

Together with the hand scanners of the 3600 series come multiple tools for uncomplicated management (123Scan, Scanner Management Service), continuous monitoring (new Remote Diagnostics tool) and enhanced performance (PRZM Intelligent Imaging platform). The new Remote Diagnostics tool enables automated logging, including asset information, device health and statistics, configuration settings etc. It ensures that devices are running smoothly. Processes can be optimized on the basis of recorded data.

The handheld barcode readers of the Zebra 3600 series allow the capture of multiple codes with one pull of the trigger. Multi-code collection accelerates workflows. Data is automatically transferred into the right applications. Ideal for order picking tasks, it is also possible to select one single barcode, for example from a pick list.

New Data parsing functions

Zebra has extended the data parsing capabilities of the 3600 series barcode readers. New parsing features analyze and sort collected data, including UDI and blood bag data used in the medical industry and codes complying with GS1 standards.

Hard-wearing

In industrial environments, handheld barcode scanners must endure harsh treatment. The scanner series 3600 by Zebra was designed for challenging workflows. Improved ruggedness enables a drop resistance of up to 3 m. Sealed against the ingress of dust and water according to protection classes IP65 and IP68, the robust devices can even tolerate water jets and water immersion. Corded versions are ready for temperatures between -30 °C and +50 °C, cordless models can be used within a temperature range from -20 °C to +50 °C. The powerful battery enables up to 100,000 scans per charge.
